INTRODUCTION & REVIEW
 
Last time, we covered verse 24 of Daniel 8 which had to do with the Little Horn who is the Antichrist , the counterfeit Christ, the devil himself. This Little Horn was given rule in the whole corporate Christian Church by God Himself beginning on May 21,1988 after the Holy Spirit was removed from the midst of all the Christian churches and was released from the pit in which he had been bound ever since the time of the cross ( Revelation 20:2-3 ; 2Thessalonians 2:7 and listen to 2Thessalonians 2:1-11 ) to then be used to bring God's Final Period of Judgment on the world, beginning, first, at the House of God on May 21,1988, for Holy Scripture had declared, " judgment must begin at the House of God" ( 1Peter 4:17 ); and then that same judgment expanded to include the whole world on May 21,2011.  
 
Now, some time ago, in verse 23 of Daniel 8 , we saw that this Little Horn understood " dark sentences ," which, we learned, meant he was, not only able to understand the basic truths of the Bible, but he was even able to understand the deeper parabolic truths of the Bible, even those truths that have remained hidden to almost all Christians which have to do with the Latter Days and the end of the world. This has given the Little Horn who is the counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, the devil himself the upper hand over all those still in the Christian churches because they, for the most part, have not correctly understood those things to do with the Latter Days and the end of the world, especially because God Himself has been blinding the leaders of the Christian churches and those in them as judgment against them for all their various High Places of idol worship that have been erected in the corporate or external Christian Church as a whole. As we have learned in other studies, High Places are any and all false doctrines and practices held up as being from God when they are not, and today, there are many High Places that have been erected in the Christian churches, just as ancient Israel and Judah had erected many High Places of idol worship (see High Places ). And just as ancient Judah and Jerusalem were physically destroyed by the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar and his army due to their High Places of idol worship, so also, have the Christian churches been spiritually destroyed by the King of spiritual Babylon, the Little Horn and counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, Satan himself, due to their High Places of idol worship. Indeed, just as all the cities of Judah, including Jerusalem, were destroyed by physical fire due to their High Places of idol worship, so also have all the Christian churches been spiritually destroyed by spiritual fire without exception. The whole land of both ancient Judah and today's corporate Christian Church, which includes all Christian churches, were destroyed, and not even the rare, faithful prophet, Jeremiah, was kept from having to experience the Great Tribulation of his day due to the devastation, even as the most faithful in the Christian churches have not been spared either from having to experience the Great Tribulation of this day due to the spiritual destruction caused by the Little Horn and Antichrists, Satan himself. Nevertheless, the faithful have obeyed their Lord to depart out from all the Christian churches, without exception, to escape that spiritual destruction that began at the House of God on May 21,1988 due to the High Places of idol worship that had been erected right within the corporate or external Christian Church. The rest, who have remained in the Christian churches to fight the destruction by the enemy of counterfeit Christians and Satan beyond May 21,2011, these have already been spiritually destroyed by great deception. As Jeremiah, the Prophet warned,   

8 And unto this people [the people of Judah and Jerusalem, which typifies all the people in the Christian churches during the Great Tribulation from May 21,1988 to May 21,2011, and even to this very day] thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death . 
9 He that abideth in this city [Jerusalem, which typifies the whole corporate Christian Church] shall die by the sword [the sword, of course, typifies the word of God] and by the famine [no more food typifies no more salvation] , and by the pestilence [pestilence typifies deceptions, false gospels, false doctrines, demons, counterfeit Christs, counterfeit signs and wonders, including counterfeit salvations, being made to fall backward, and more] : but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans [the one who departs out from the Christian churches and falls to the Babylonians who today typify the people of this world or Satan] that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey . 
10 For I have set my face against this city [God has set Himself against Jerusalem, which today typifies the whole external or corporate Christian Church, which includes all Christian churches] for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon [Satan, the Antichrist and Little Horn] , and he shall burn it with fire [the Little Horn shall burn all the Christian churches by judgment and the word of God. As we read in Jeremiah 23:29, "Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"]. 

Then, from our last study on Daniel 8, verse 24 read, 

24 And his [the Little Horn's] power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people .  

From this verse, we learned that the Little Horn's power in and over the Christian churches as the counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, Satan himself has been " mighty, but not by his own power ." No, relatively speaking, Satan is called the Little Horn, we had learned, because his power and strength in the Christian churches during the Great Tribulation beginning on May 21,1988 was relatively small when compared to his overall power and strength over the whole world at that time. Nevertheless, the Little Horn's power became " mighty" in the whole corporate or external Christian Church because, first, the devil was no longer limited in his power against the Christian Church during the Church age by having then being spiritually bound in the pit for 1,000 years (Satan was bound for the completeness of years in God's plan, which was for 1,955 actual years ever since Pentecost of 33 AD to May 21,1988 [see Revelation 20:1-8 )]), but on May 21,1988, he was released from that pit (again, see Revelation 20:1-8 ) to be used by God to bring judgment against the whole corporate or external Christian Church, which includes all Christian churches, to begin what the Bible calls the Great Tribulation, for God's final days of judgment on the world " [had to] begin at the House of God" (1Peter 4:17); and, second, the Little Horn's power became mighty in the whole corporate Christian Church, not only because his spiritual restraints against the Christian Church had been removed by having been released from the pit, but also because the Holy Spirit was removed from the midst of the whole corporate Christian Church on May 21,1988 so that Satan, the Antichrist and Little Horn, was no longer restrained from being able to set himself up as the counterfeit ruler and Christ in and over the whole external or corporate Christian Church without virtually anyone realizing it. Indeed, by September 7,1994 when the Latter Rain of the Great Tribulation had begun, the Little Horn had then spiritually gained complete rule in and over every Christian church, namely the whole corporate Christian Church. And most of God's true people, the only true Eternal Church themselves, soon obeyed Christ to depart out from all their churches before God's final days of judgment expanded from just being upon the Christian Church to also coming upon the whole world as well on May 21,2011, and, in a sense, it has continued even to this day because Satan has been allowed to continue for " a season and time" ( Daniel 7:12 ).

Then also, in our last study, we were told that in the Little Horn's God-given power and might in and over the whole corporate or external Christian Church, he would " destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people ." The words " destroy wonderfully" could be translated as " ruin marvelously " or " ruin amazingly ;" the point being, we learned, the Little Horn, who is the Antichrist and the devil himself that was revealed on May 21,1988 through careful Bible study to begin his ruling in the corporate or external Christian Church, spiritually destroyed or ruined the whole corporate or external Christian Church by September 7,1994 of the Great Tribulation, which Great Tribulation began on May 21,1988 when true eternal salvation came to an end in the whole external or corporate Christian Church and the world until the Latter Rain began on September 7,1994 when true salvation became possible again only outside of and away from the Christian Church, remember, in verse 11 of Daniel 8 , we learned that, in the whole corporate or external Christian Church, the Little Horn " magnified himself even to the prince of the host [to the degree and place of Christ in the external Church as the counterfeit Christ] , and by him the daily sacrifice [the payment for sin, and so, eternal salvation] was taken away ."  

So, the whole corporate or external Christian Church was wonderfully, marvelously, even amazingly spiritually destroyed by the Little Horn, the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, Satan himself, according to the will of God who made it all possible by removing the true Holy Spirit of protection from the corporate Christian Church, who was then able to be replaced by the counterfeit holy spirit, the Little Horn and Antichrist, Satan himself; and also, God made it possible for the Little Horn to spiritually destroy the whole external or corporate Christian Church by releasing the devil from the pit in which he had been bound ever since the time of the cross (see Revelation 20:1-8 ), for God's final judgment on this world " [had to] begin at the House of God" (1Peter 4:17).  

But now, not only did God's Judgment by use of the Little Horn bring spiritual destruction by removing eternal salvation in and through the corporate or external Christian Church ever since May 21,1988, but God's true people or Elect (also called the Two Witnesses), the only true Eternal Church themselves, who were once found in the external or corporate Christian Church were spiritually destroyed or ruined, which is why we saw in our last study of verse 24 of Daniel 8 that this Little Horn would " prosper, and practise, and [would] destroy the mighty and the holy people ." When we studied verse 10 of Daniel 8 , which is also a commentary on all this, we read, " And it [the Little Horn] waxed great, even to the host of heaven [this Little Horn became great to the degree and place of God's people in the Christian Church] ; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them [the Little Horn who is the Antichrist and devil spiritually cast down some of God's true people who were still in the Christian Church at that time and spiritually trampled or stamped upon them]." In other words, during the Great Tribulation from May 21,1988 to May 21,2011, and, in a sense, even to this very day, in particular, during the first part or 6.3 years of the Great Tribulation from May 21,1988 to September 7,1994, God's true people had been spiritually overcome and killed (silenced) within their Christian churches (see Revelation 11:7-10 ; 13:7 ; 13:15 ). The spiritual killing (silencing) of God's Elect was accomplished by all the counterfeit Christians (" the host" ) of the Little Horn no longer allowing them ministry in the Christian Church, looking down upon them, separating from them, calling them out as false prophets, asking or requiring them to leave, and using any means possible to silence them from declaring or ministering all the truths about the Latter Days, the end of the world, and much more beginning with God's judgment at His very own House, namely at the corporate or external Christian Church, which includes all Christian congregations and denominations worldwide all counted as one together. In fact, we had learned in Revelation 13:16 that unless so-called Christians had received the Mark of the Beast, which, by the way, is completely a spiritual Mark, they were not able to bring forth the true word of God, especially endtime truths in the word of God, within the Christian churches, which is what is meant by that God's true people were not able to "buy and sell" as described in Revelation 13:17 part 1 and part 2 .  

Now, we could mention many other verses in the Bible that speak to the overcoming and spiritual destruction of the whole external or corporate Christian Church in the Latter Days of the New Covenant in which we now find ourselves such as Revelation chapter 8 ; Revelation 17:16 ; all of Revelation chapter 18 ; all of Daniel 7 ; and many, many other verses, but let's now focus in on our verse for today's study and the last description of this Little Horn that we have in Daniel 8 of our study. That verse is verse 25, which states, 

" And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand ."  

To begin, the word translated as " policy"  in the phrase, " And through his policy" is probably better translated as " understanding " or " intelligence ," and so now, our first sentence of verse 25 reads, " And through his understanding [or intelligence ] also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand ." The word translated as " craft " is more of an old English word for " deceit ," and " deceit ," of course, means " lies ." Therefore, we are being told that " through his [the Little Horn's] understanding [or intelligence ] also he shall cause craft [deceit or lies] to prosper in his hand ," and certainly, that is exactly what we have especially seen take place in the corporate or external Christian Church during the last few decades. The Little Horn has successfully brought all kinds of lies into the Christian churches to deceive them, which is God's Judgment against them: to blind them to Satan's rule in their churches beginning on May 21,1988 so that they worship him, the counterfeit Christ, the Little Horn and ultimate Antichrist, Satan himself, without even knowing it, as it is even to this very day (see Revelation 13:3-4 ; Revelation 13:8 ; 13:14 ). And remember, we are told back in verse 23 of Daniel 8 that this Little Horn understands " dark sentences ," which we had learned means he understands the deeper parabolic meanings of Holy Scripture, even the entire Bible itself (see Daniel 8:23 ). Yes, the Little Horn understands, therefore, the harder to understand teachings of the end times, and so he has been able to more easily deceive the Christian churches with lies, especially to do with the end times, so much so that they have no idea they are worshipping the devil in their Christian churches during the spiritual Great Tribulation that began on May 21,1988. No, most of the Christian churches do not even know or accept that the Antichrist already came on May 21,1988 to begin ruling in their churches and that he is not a man but the devil himself ; nor do they realize that the Great Tribulation already began by no more eternal salvation in and thru any Christian church beginning on May 21,1988; nor that all the apparent salvations they think they now see are all counterfeit signs and wonders of Satan in his attempt to deceive God's Elect, " if that were possible " (Matthew 24:24); nor do they realize that all true Christians have long since been commanded to depart out from their Christian churches, and most, if not all, have already departed out from their churches even before God's final days of judgment came upon the whole world on May 21,2011; and, indeed, there are many other end time and other truths of the Bible that all the so-called Christians still in the Christian churches have been blinded to. So, we see, as our verse 25 of Daniel 8 states, that " through his [the Little Horn's] understanding [or intelligence ] also he [has] cause[d] craft [deceit or lies] to prosper in his hand ." And " to prosper in his hand " simply means that the Little Horn's deceit or lies have succeeded in deceiving the vast majority of so-called Christians according to his will or control over them, but, as we had learned in our last study, it is " not by his power" ( verse 24 ).    
 
Then, from our study today, verse 25 further says, " and he [the Little Horn] shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many ." That this Little Horn here is said to " magnify himself ," we learned, simply means he makes himself great, and we have clearly seen him so making himself great in the corporate Christian Church, which all Christian churches are a part of, because he has set himself up to rule in and over them without them even knowing it. We have a commentary on this in 2Thessalonians 2:4, which says the following about the Antichrist and Little Horn, Satan himself:  

" Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God [the whole corporate or external Christian Church] , shewing himself that he is God ." 

We also get a glimpse of how the Little Horn has " magnified himself [made himself great] in his own heart" in Isaiah 14 where we read, 

13 For thou [the shining one, Satan himself] hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven [I will ascend into heaven like Christ did after He died on the cross to sit on His throne] , I will exalt my throne above the stars of God [above the true people of Christ to rule over them] : I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation [I will rule over the whole Christian Church as king of kings, and lord of lords] , in the sides of the north [throughout the whole world] : 
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds [I will be the judge over all] ; I will be like the most High .  

But now also, we learn, not only has the Little Horn " magnified himself [made himself great] in his heart ," but he, " by peace ," we see in our verse, " shall destroy many ," which leads us to ask the question, how has this Little Horn used " peace " to destroy many? To begin to be able to answer this question, we need to first better understand what is spiritually meant by the word " peace " in the Bible. Most people would think of " peace " as a state of no strife, no fighting or battling with oneself or others, as well as a state of wellbeing, freedom, lack of anxiety, quietness, prosperity and safety from being harmed in any way. And certainly, " peace " can include all those things. But none of those things are ever fully possible unless one has found true " peace with God ," which was only possible through eternal salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Before we were eternally saved, we had no peace with God, but we were, in fact, enemies of God and truth as we read in Romans 5:10, 

" For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life ."  

And, in speaking about people who were saved, Colossians 1:21 states, 

" And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled ." 

But though we were once enemies of God, we became at " peace with God" through Jesus Christ as we read in Romans 5:1, 
 
" Therefore being justified [eternally saved] by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ ." 

Yes, we have " peace with God " because our sins (past, present, and future) were paid for by His shed blood on the cross, and so our sins can no longer separate us from God nor condemn us to death through God's law, for we are no longer " under [God's] law but under grace " (Romans 6:14). Indeed, we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son, and so we have " peace with God ." No longer is He against us with a high-lifted hand, ready to crush us because of His law and our sins, and no longer are we enemies God by our ongoing rebellion to Him. As it is written in Romans 6,

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace .
15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid .  
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness ?   

And again, in Romans 6:1-7, we read,  

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound ?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein ?  
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death ?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life .  
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection :
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin .  
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin .  

So, true eternal " peace " comes by " peace with God ," and " peace with God " comes only by eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. Therefore, true eternal " peace " also comes only by eternal salvation through Christ. To have true eternal salvation is to have true eternal " peace ." The two are inseparable, so much so that we can say eternal salvation is one and the same as eternal peace. This is why the gospel of salvation is also called the gospel of peace as we read in Romans 10:15:  

" And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things !" 

So, when the Apostle Paul would address the people of God, he would always begin by saying, " Grace to you, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ ," always including the words " grace" and " peace" because the word " grace " means unmerited or unearned favor, and " peace " means " peace with God " which comes only through eternal salvation in Jesus Christ. Therefore, God's true people received " peace with God " (eternal salvation) by unmerited or unearned favor, an important hallmark of the true gospel. Any salvation being offered other than by unmerited or unearned favor was and still is a false gospel, and today, those false gospels are everywhere, even in the so-called Christian churches themselves (see Keeping the Sabbath Holy and The Little Horn says you must believe to be saved, part 5 and part 6 ).  

Okay, let's return to our verse, which says that the Little Horn " by peace shall destroy many ," and now, once again, ask the question, how does the Little Horn who is the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, the devil himself destroy many " by peace ?" Now that we know " peace " in the gospel or spiritual sense means " peace with God " through the atoning work of Jesus Christ whereby one's sins have been paid for and forgiven, which is eternal salvation, we are able to begin to understand how the Little Horn has been able to destroy many " by peace ." Indeed, since " peace" means " peace with God " through God's forgiveness of one's sins to be made a friend of God and no longer His enemy, to destroy many by " peace ," then, means that the Little Horn destroys many by proclaiming " peace with God " to them. That is, he comes right in and through the Christian churches proclaiming the gospel of " peace " or " salvation " with many even apparently becoming saved, but it is a false gospel or Christ that mimics the true gospel so well that it could even deceive God's Elect, " if that were possible " (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22). In fact, it is a gospel for the very purpose of deceiving God's Elect, but that is not possible because God holds His own in His right hand, and none can snatch them away. Nevertheless, by deception, it is a gospel that spiritually destroys those who have not departed out from the Christian churches in obedience to Christ because it makes them think they are saved, or at least on the right path to salvation, when they are not. Therefore, they have been spiritually destroyed or ruined " by peace :" they are believing and following the false gospels of the Little Horn, the Antichrist and counterfeit Christ, Satan himself (see Why depart out from all Christian churches? and Should Gods people depart out from all Christian churches? ).

Now, since any possibility for eternal salvation came to an end on May 21,2011 when God's final many days of judgment expanded to include the whole world and continues on the whole corporate or external Christian Church, which includes every Christian church except the Eternal Church or true Elect of God who departed out from all Christian churches in obedience to Christ, this means that " peace with God " is no longer possible. But all the Christian denominations and churches are still saying, "peace, peace;" that is, "salvation is still possible, salvation is still possible" when there is no more salvation. This is what ancient Jerusalem and Judah did similarly as well to foreshadow what the Christian churches would be doing in the Latter Days of the New Covenant that we are now in. Even though God's Judgment had come upon ancient Judah and Jerusalem to destroy them by the Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar, and his soldiers (also called Chaldeans) due to their High Places of idol worship ; nevertheless, the false prophets of Jerusalem were still saying, " peace, peace " even though there was no " peace " (Jeremiah 6:14; 8:11; Ezekiel 13:10, 16). Similarly, in our day, the prophets, pastors, teachers, and others in the Christian churches are misleading the churchgoers to believe that eternal salvation is still possible, so, in essence, they are saying the similar thing as were the ancient false prophets of Jerusalem, namely " peace, peace ;" that is, salvation is still possible when it is not; and the Little Horn, the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, the devil himself is behind it all as he rules in the whole corporate or external Christian Church. It is a false gospel because it can no longer save anyone, for salvation came to an end, forever, on May 21,2011. But " by peace ," as verse 25 of Daniel 8 forewarned, the Little Horn, the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, Satan himself, is spiritually destroying many by his false gospels with the signs and wonders of counterfeit salvations, some even with other apparent miracles such as making people fall backwards (Revelation 13:13 part 1 , part 2 , and part 3 ), dreams, visions, voices, speaking in tongues, words of knowledge, healings, and other such things that he was given to do in his attempt " to deceive the Elect if that were possible " (Matthew 24:24). 

Now, finally, our verse ends with this: " he [the Little Horn] shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand ." In that this Little Horn stands up against " the Prince of princes ," which is obviously a reference to standing up against Jesus Christ Himself who is " the Prince of princes ," is just a further commentary from the angel Gabriel on what Daniel had seen just previously in his vision and what we had learned in verse 11 of Daniel 8 , which says, 

" Yea, he [the Little Horn] magnified himself [made himself great] even to the prince of the host [to the place and degree of Jesus Christ], and by him the daily sacrifice [the payment for sin, Jesus Christ, and therefore, eternal salvation] was taken away [thus, eternal salvation came to an end in all the Christian churches], and the place of his sanctuary [the whole corporate or external Christian Church] was [spiritually] cast down ." 

Indeed, by setting himself up to rule in the whole corporate or external Christian Church and so making himself great as if he were God himself beginning on May 21,1988, and by his taking away the payment for sin, Jesus Christ, and therefore, removing eternal salvation from the midst of the Christian churches, this Little Horn and counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, Satan himself, has most certainly " [stood] up against the Prince of princes ," our Lord, Jesus Christ, and he continues to stand up against our Lord even to this very day. Nevertheless, we must always remember what we learned in verse 24 of our last study , namely that this Little Horn's " power shall be mighty, but not by his own power ." That is, although this Little Horn has been able to rule as the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist over the whole corporate or external Christian church beginning on May 21,1988, he has not done it by his own power. No, it was because of God who removed the Holy Spirit from the midst of the whole corporate or external Christian Church to make way for the Little Horn who is the counterfeit holy spirit, the devil himself, to be able to take of his seat of rule in the whole corporate or external Christian Church as judgment against them for all their High Places of idol worship and rebellion against His word and law in so many things. God also made it possible for this Little Horn to magnify himself or make himself great in the Christian Church by His having freed the devil from the pit in which he had been bound ever since the time of the cross (again, see Revelation 20:1-8 ). This allowed for this Little Horn and counterfeit Christ to have much more power than he once had over the whole Christian Church. Nevertheless, our verse 25 concludes with this: " but he shall be broken without hand ." What exactly this means is revealed in 2Thessalonians 2,  

6 And now ye know what withholdeth [restrains the Antichrist who is the Little Horn from being revealed as ruler and Christ in the Christian Church] that he might be revealed in his time .
7 For the mystery of iniquity [Satan working in the Church] doth already work: only he [God] who now letteth [restrains] will let [will restrain] , until he [ the Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way [out from the midst of the whole Christian Church] .  
8 And then shall that Wicked [the Antichrist who is the Little Horn and devil] , be revealed [revealed ruling in the whole Christian Church as the counterfeit Christ] , whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming .    

Yes, the Little Horn " shall be broken without hand " because he will be destroyed " with the brightness of his [the Lord Jesus Christ's] coming ." Our Lord's coming in such great holiness and glory will be brighter the sun, and like the whole earth would be consumed in an instant if the largest possible sun flare was released from the sun to the earth, so also will the counterfeit Christ, the Little Horn and Antichrist, Satan himself be consumed in an instant at the soon to come appearing of our Lord. Indeed, the devil will instantly be destroyed just by the incredible brightness of our Lord's coming, and so " he shall be broken without hand," "for our God is a consuming fire " (Hebrews 12:29; Deuteronomy 4:24).  

  
SUMMARY & CONCLUSION

In verse 25 of Daniel 8, we have learned that through the Little Horn's intelligence or understanding of the Holy Bible, he has been able to make deceit, or lies prosper or be successful according to his rule and control in the whole eternal or corporate Christian Church ever since May 21,1988. In fact, the Little Horn, who is the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, the devil himself, has been able to set himself up to rule in the whole corporate or external Christian Church without almost none of the churchgoers even realizing it because God Himself has made it all possible in order to bring His Judgment against His own Church, for " judgment [had to] begin at the House of God " (1Peter 4:17). Although they have eyes to see, and ears to hear, they see not and hear not because God has blinded them (2Thessalonians 2:11-12). They are worshipping the devil, but they don't even know it. God's true people, on the other hand, have long since departed out from all the Christian churches in obedience to their Lord. As long as they remained in the Church, they worshipped the devil, but now that they have left all the Christian churches, they have been being purified to only worship the true Christ. 

We also learned that in our study of verse 25 of Daniel 8 that this Little Horn has " magnified himself [made himself great] in his heart " and in the whole corporate or external Christian Church as the counterfeit Christ and Antichrist, and " by peace " has destroyed many. " By peace ," we learned, means this Little Horn destroyed many by his false gospels. Ever since May 21,2011 when the final Day of the Lord began, consisting of many days, eternal salvation came to an end, but all the Christian churches are still saying that salvation is still possible, so it is like they are saying, " Peace, peace " just like the ancient false prophets said to God's ancient people of Judah and Jerusalem when there was no peace. Therefore, by misleading all the churchgoers in a false gospel, the Little Horn, through all his pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelists, priests and many others, has been spiritually destroying many by his deceit and lies. And so it is we learned what it meant that this Little Horn " by peace [would] destroy many ," as we now can see what he has done. He has been preaching, " peace, peace [there is still salvation, there is still salvation] when there is no peace [there is no more salvation] ." 

Finally, we learned that " he [the Little Horn] shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand ." This we saw meant that although the Little Horn in our day has apparently conquered the true Christ and His Church, he will be destroyed at the appearing brightness of our Lord.
