Ancient Aliens: the Principalites and Powers in the Bible?

INTRODUCTION

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! We are now living in the greatest days of deception ever, and, in these final few days remaining, one of Satan's many great deceptions can be seen in what has been called the Ancient Astronaut (Alien) Theory. This theory is now being openly proclaimed and accepted almost everywhere, as it has become mainstream in being broadcast right through people's tell-a-lie-visions daily on such programs as "Ancient Aliens" while, at the same time, UFO and Alien visitation information is being disclosed like never before in history. Things that were once covered up and kept from the general populous ever since the UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 are now finally being brought to the forefront by the very mainstream media and world governments that had originally covered them up. And now, knowing we are in the last few days of this world according to God's Holy Word, Jesus Christ, we logically ask the question, why now? Why has this Ancient Astronaut (Alien) Theory along with UFO and Alien disclosure become so mainstream during these last few days before the end of the world? Certainly, the relatively recent UFO and Alien disclosure has strengthened the Ancient Alien Theory by now making UFO and Alien visitation mainstream, something Ancient Astronaut Theorists certainly applaud, as they think UFOs and Aliens have been visiting the earth and influencing the cultures, genetics, and direction of humankind for thousands of years. They even claim that the gods of almost all, if not all, human religions are extraterrestrials themselves. Billy Meier, now an elderly man with one arm due to a bus accident who claims to have been in touch with Aliens from the Pleiades Star Cluster ever since he was five years old and has many actual pictures and recorded sounds of their spacecrafts, taught his band of followers what he claimed to have learned from these Pleiades' Aliens: that all the gods of world religions are actually Aliens. Again, we must ask, why have these things become mainstream in the final days of this earth? A great deception, certainly!

But let me first say that I, personally, in the light of all the evidence, have believed in UFOs and Alien visitation for many years now, for, to me, Aliens can just be viewed as another creation of the one and only true God. But contrary to many Ancient Astronaut (Alien) Theorists, my belief that there have been extraterrestrials visiting earth does not in any way change my faith in the one and only true God. No, it only confirms and therefore strengthens my faith. After all, if God created human beings, why would He not also have created other beings as well? It's completely logical and stems from the very nature of God Himself who is the principal creator. Discovering there are other created beings, then, as already stated, should only encourage our faith. Our faith should not be shattered in any way!

Yet many Ancient Astronaut (Alien) Theorists think that our faith should be shattered. Why? Because they believe that extraterrestrials actually created us, and they have been guiding our evolution ever since. Aliens are the ones, they think, that created all the religions on the earth to manipulate people into becoming made into their image. Not into the image of the one and only true God, but into the image of their extraterrestrial creators. When the Bible declares in Genesis 1:26, " And God [transliterated, Elohim: 'Gods,' plural] said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness ," they interpret the " us " in the sentence, " Let us make man in our image " to refer to Aliens or Extraterrestrials. But this is just another example of how not to interpret the Bible. Instead of letting the Bible (the 66 books found in all Christian Bibles, not the Apocrypha), which alone circumscribes the true faith and religion, define its own terms, they read into the Bible what they want it to say. If they would let the Bible (only the 66 holy books of scripture from God that now make up the entire Protestant Bible but are also found in all other Christian Bibles) define its own terms, they would have concluded that the plural " us " in the sentence, " Let us make man in our image " must refer to the triune, one and only God: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And so, the " us " in the scripture that states, " Let us make man in our image " refers to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are three different persons, indeed; but they are all the same one God. To say, " Let us make man in our image ," then, is equivalent to saying, " Let God make man in His image ." In other words, " Let us [the three different persons of the Godhead: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are each that one and only true God] make man in our image ."

Ancient Astronaut (Alien) Theorists similarly abuse many other Holy Scriptures of the Bible as well by interpreting them outside of the context in which they were intended to be understood, namely within the context of the entire 66 books of the only true Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible. For instance, as one more example of the many examples that could be given, Ancient Alien Theorists abuse the Holy Scriptures that speak on the taking up Elijah, the Prophet, into heaven from the presence of his servant and disciple, Elisha. We learn of this account in 2 Kings 2:9-12, where we read,

9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over [the Jordan river], that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me .
10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so .
11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven .
12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces .

Now, what Ancient Alien Theorists do with these verses is interpret " chariot of fire, and horses of fire " to be a reference to a UFO that took up Elijah into heaven. They say the language of " a chariot of fire, and horses of fire " was used simply because that was the best vocabulary that the author had in those days to describe the UFO spacecraft that took up Elijah. So, once again, we see that Ancient Alien Theorists read into Holy Scripture what they want it to mean without allowing the Bible itself, the very words of God, to define what it means by looking up the words, phrases, or sentences everywhere they take place in the Bible to see how God defines them instead of reading into them things outside the Bible. Sadly, even many so-called Christians today have come to understand the Bible by reading things into it instead of allowing the Bible to define and interpret itself. This is certainly one of the reasons why so many so-called Christians in the churches today have a Bible knowledge equivalent to, or less than, that of Elementary School students. They have never been correctly taught how to properly interpret the Bible by their Pastors and Teachers, so they define words, phrases, and sentences according to their own knowledge base in this world instead of how God defines them in Holy Scripture; and they are unable to see the deeper spiritual truths of the Bible because, at least in part, they were never taught to look for the spiritual meaning (a good book to read in learning how to interpret the Bible is " First principles of Bible Study ." Indeed, even Jesus's own disciples had difficulty perceiving the deeper meaning to things because they took things out of context. For instance, when Jesus had said to them in Matthew 16, " Take heed and beware of the leaven [yeast] of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees ," his disciples thought he was speaking about the literal leavened bread of the Pharisees and Sadducees when He actually was speaking about the teaching or doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. We read this account in Matthew 16:6-12, which says,

6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven [yeast] of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees .
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread [thinking that Jesus spoke of physical leaven or yeast in physical bread instead of the spiritual ] .
8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread ?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up ?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up ?
11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees ?
12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven [yeast] of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees .

The reason why Jesus's disciples misunderstood what the term " leaven [yeast] " represented is because they interpreted what Jesus said by what was then the current literal meaning to leaven or yeast instead of viewing its meaning in the context of the things that Jesus had just previously said and done. When we study the Bible, we also must not be tempted to interpret words and phrases according to what they literally mean today, but we must look them up everywhere in the Bible to see how God defines them in the various contexts in which they are used; and we should look for the deeper spiritual meaning. Similarly, the Old Testament account was a literal and historical account of things that would be spiritually fulfilled in the New Covenant. We could, then, call the entire literal Old Covenant (stories and all) historical parables with a deeper spiritual meaning that has and is being realized or fulfilled in the New Covenant. Therefore, to understand the deeper meaning of the literal Old Covenant, we must see the Old Covenant in the Light of the New Covenant because the New Covenant reveals what the Old Covenant actually foreshadowed or typified. Remember, we saw this also in coming to a truer understanding of the Sabbath Day. The Old Covenant Sabbath Day, we found, foreshadowed our rest in Jesus Christ from having to work our way into heaven by good deeds or obedience to God's law. Those, today, who think they are or will ultimately be saved by even the smallest of good works will, in the end, be stoned to death even as the man in the Old Covenant who simply picked up a few sticks to build a fire on the Sabbath Day was stoned to death. Sadly, Christian churches today will be stoned to death on the Last Day because they have broken the Sabbath Day by proclaiming that people can be saved by doing some good work, even if it be just the good work of believing in Christ (see Daniel 8:12 part 5, Daniel 8:12 part 6 and Keeping the Sabbath Day ).

Catholic doctrine takes good works to the extreme and teaches that salvation, at least in part, is obtained by obedience to their sacraments, and even if you don't make it to heaven the first time around when judged after death, it can then be earned in purgatory with enough penance or good works, perhaps enough "Hail Mary's," or enough times praying through the Rosery, who knows? These teachings, indeed, are pleasing to the flesh of mankind, and they have made the Church materially rich as the Catholic churchgoers give of their wealth (basically indulgences) in hopes of eternal salvation; but they are doctrines of men and demons. Because of this, no one who truly claims the name of Christ should have anything to do with the Catholic Church, for in so doing, the name of Christ has been being blasphemed; and if such a one will not repent after being shown the true Holy Scripture teaching, he is showing himself to be naked and of the counterfeit Christ, not a person of the truth (see the Bible and Catholicism ).

Anyway, back to Aliens or Extraterrestrials. Even though Ancient Alien Theorists read many things into the Bible that are not actually there, we understand why the use of the Bible is so important for them. Afterall, the Bible has stronger support for its validity of being the very word of God than any other so-called sacred or holy writings. Therefore, if Ancient Alien Theorists can show that there are UFOs and Aliens in the Holy Bible, their theory automatically gains much more validity. Another one of their big problems, though, is that they try to give equal authority to other sacred or so-called holy literature as well, which more enlightened people know is not true, for only the 66 books of the true Holy Scriptures were written by the one and only true God through men, and so only these have authority above all other literature. All other so-called Holy Writings are simply the creation of human beings, other created beings like Aliens, or demons, such as the Islamic Quran, the Apocrypha, the Jewish Zohar, the so-called Lost Gospels, the Book of Enoch, the Jewish Talmud, the Hindu Vedas, the Mormon's Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price, and all the rest of so-called holy or sacred literature.

Since the Bible is the only true literature that came from the one and only true God through men, it must be lifted far above all other literature in declaring truth. Because it clearly declares how human beings were created, we know with absolute certainty that we were not created by Aliens or Extraterrestrials. Nevertheless, it may be possible that Aliens have been, at least, some of what the Bible terms, " Principalities and powers ." For instance, we read in Colossians 2,

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses ;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross ;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it .

" Principalities and powers " can be rulers and authorities, whether they be humans, possibly Extraterrestrials or Aliens (?), spirit-angels (also translated, spirit-messengers), demons like Satan and other fallen spirit-angels, or anything else that God may not have yet made us aware of that has been given rule over humankind. Nevertheless, " principalities " appear to be those rulers at or near the top or beginning of the hierarchy of authority while " powers " (also translated, "authorities") appear to be those rulers further down the hierarchy. Spiritually speaking, there are only two kingdoms in this world: Satan's and Christ's kingdom. Therefore, for instance, Satan is the ultimate principality of his kingdom, with other fallen spirit-angels, then perhaps(?) extraterrestrial angels or messengers, and then unsaved human beings being somewhere near or at the bottom in that hierarchy of authority while Christ is the chief principality of His kingdom, with the good or non-fallen spirit-angels, and then perhaps(?) extraterrestrial angels or messengers, and then saved human beings in Christ on earth being below Him somewhere in that hierarchy of authority.

We read about those " principalities and powers " of Satan's kingdom that we spiritually wrestle with in Ephesians 6:12, where we read,

" For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places [in the heavens] ."

That a remnant of Jews and gentiles would be eternally saved from sin and the evil rule of Satan's kingdom over this world ever since the fall of Adam and Eve in the one body of Jesus Christ was a mystery to all the " principalities and powers " in the heavens, whether good or evil; and at least one purpose of God's Church was to make that mystery known to them through the preaching of the gospel: that they would all come to see the many layered or many fold wisdom of God, to His great glory alone. To see the whole context of the scriptural declaration about this mystery in Ephesians 3:1-11, the Apostle Paul writes,

1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles ,
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward :
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words ,
4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ ,
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit ;
6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheir [with the elect remnant of Jews], and of the same body [the body of Christ], and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel :
7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power .
8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ ;
9 And to make all men [God's elect] see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ :
10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places [in the heavens] might be known by [or through] the church the manifold [or multi-layered or multi-colored] wisdom of God ,
11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord .

Now, it is possible that perhaps in seeing God's creation of this world, the " principalities and powers " wondered why God had created a world only to have it soon fall into a state of sin and corruption by Adam and Eve's sin (I, myself, have even wondered that). Why would God create such a thing, perhaps they thought, as have I? Then, as history unfolded with God coming to earth as a man and being crucified to save His creation including His predestined family of Jews and Gentiles in the one body of Christ from Satan, sin, and corruption by the preaching of the gospel through His Church, the " principalities and powers " would finally come to better understand the purpose for this creation: that mystery hidden from the foundation of world, namely to reveal His great mercy, grace, and love toward a remnant of Jews and Gentiles (a great multitude), as well as to reveal His perfect justice against sinners, including the whole kingdom of Satan with its evil " principalities and powers " that have stood up against God to rebel. Through it all, both God's Eternal Church (His true elect) and the " principalities and powers " in the heavens have been learning of God and His purpose for this creation: to reveal more fully just who God is, to the glory of God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit: three different persons who are all the one, the same, and only true God.

So, Aliens or extraterrestrials, whether good or evil, would simply be another creation of God somewhere down in the hierarchy of authority or power. Perhaps they have been thought of as gods, whether good or evil, by various peoples on the earth throughout history like the Ancient Alien Theorists believe, but they certainly did not create us. Those aliens that are apparently abusing humans by abductions and experimentations on the abductees would likely be some of those evil " powers " of the kingdom of Satan's hierarchy of authority. These certainly would be some of those " powers " or "authorities" that Christ openly conquered and spoiled or ruined on the cross. Remember, we read in Colossians 2:15,

" And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it ."

That is, by Christ's atonement for the sins of his people, He not only guaranteed that His people would be made sinless, but that this whole creation would be made incorruptible on the Last Day to become the new heaven and earth in which His sinless people would then rule and reign with Him forevermore. We, ourselves, will have been brought from the bottom of the hierarchy of authority to the top as Christ's body, even as Christ made Himself flesh to be at the bottom like us so that we, too, by His giving of Himself on the cross for us and then His ascension to the right hand of the Father in heaven, would be seated on high with Christ Jesus, forever. The evil " principalities and powers " that include Satan, his demons, perhaps(?) alien visitors, and any other thing or being that is evil will have then been all destroyed forever, which is why we can read in Romans 9:38-39,

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come ,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord .

And we read in 1Peter 3:22,

" Who [Christ] is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him ."

And we read more in Colossians 1:16-29,

15 Who [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature :
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him :
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist .
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence .
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell ;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven .
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight :
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister ;
24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church :
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God ;
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints :
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory :
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus :
29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily .

Now, may our Lord deepen your understanding in all wisdom, and continue in prayer for me. I am weak, but He is strong; and your prayers can strengthen and give me wisdom and power in all things, even as His Whole Body grows together as one unto perfection and the appearing of our Lord.

Please also pray for my schizophrenic daughter, Apphia, that her delusions might be eliminated and her mind be healed. Pray for my care of her, for I am being pressed beyond my own patience and ability, and she does not seem to be getting better. I may have to find somewhere for her to be placed, and we would like that place to be near us if possible. Pray for God's continued provision as my vehicle has recently broken down and debt seems to keep increasing and weighing heavy upon me. Pray for my daughter Anah, that she will be able to work as her back pain is, at times, overwhelming to her. Pray for my son that his chronic muscle pains be healed, and if God chooses to not heal him at this time, that he will get disability benefits soon. Pray for my other daughter, Sarah.

Be alert always and pray for all God's people who are of like mind. I thank God always for all of you who have invested in this ministry and continue to do so. May our God already begin a great return on your investments, especially those returns that last for all eternity. Peace to you always forevermore!
